At Riva Rooms & Studios, we put hospitality at the center of everything, with a personal and authentic approach that makes every guest feel at home. Our structure was born in a former industrial building, integrated for years into the social fabric of Minusio, and reflects our commitment to creating a genuine, local, and accessible environment. While maintaining affordable prices, we have not compromised on the quality and comfort expected from a mid-to-high level hotel.
Thanks to the experience of our co-founder Christian Schlegel, former director of major luxury hotel chains, we knew which details to focus on to offer a high-level stay. Each room is carefully designed to include those features typically found only in 4-star or higher hotels: international sockets, high soundproofing, thermostatic showers for instant hot water, blackout curtains, silent air conditioning, and much more. All these elements help create an environment where relaxation and well-being are guaranteed.
Our philosophy is a balance between modernity and authenticity. We have chosen to automate many aspects of back-office operations and check-in, allowing us to focus on the most important aspect: interacting with our guests, offering them advice, and making them feel part of the territory around us. We want those who stay with us to discover the beauty of Ticino in a genuine and spontaneous way, without formalities, but with the authenticity of those who know and love this place.
We also collaborate with local businesses to offer unique experiences, such as breakfast at Osteria la Riva, directly on the lakefront, and typical regional drinks and delicacies available in our establishment. Respect for the environment is an integral part of our identity: we have designed every aspect of our structure with sustainability in mind, as we firmly believe in doing our part for a better world.
We warmly welcome all travelers who wish to discover something authentic and genuine, offering them a warm welcome to our small oasis of tranquility and comfort in Minusio.
