Departure from the Hotel:
From Riva Rooms & Studios, a short 2-minute walk will take you to Minusio station. From there, you can take the train to Locarno.
Train to Locarno
The train ride lasts only 2 minutes and brings you directly to the Locarno train station.
Funicular or Bus to Orselina
From Locarno station, you can choose to take the funicular to Orselina or bus number 3. Both options will take you up to the starting point for paragliding.
Cable Car to Cardada
From Orselina, take the cable car to Cardada. This stretch already offers incredible views over Locarno and the lake below.
Chairlift to Cimetta
Once you arrive at Cardada, a chairlift will take you to Cimetta, where your paragliding adventure begins. We recommend arriving a bit earlier to enjoy the view.
Enjoy the View and Prepare for the Flight
Cimetta offers an extraordinary 360-degree view that includes Lake Maggiore and the surrounding Alps. Before the flight, you can take some time to relax and take photos.
The Flight
The paragliding flight departs from Cimetta and takes you down to the delta of the Maggia river. During the flight, you can admire spectacular landscapes and experience the thrill of free-flying over Locarno.
Arrival and Return
Once you land near the delta of the Maggia river, you'll be close to bus stop number 3, which will take you back to the Locarno train station. From there, you can take the train and return to the hotel in just a few minutes.
