Explore Boccia al Bosco in the breathtaking Verzasca Valley, where two innovative trails await between Brione Verzasca and Lavertezzo and Gerra Verzasca and Sonogno. Total activity time: About 4-5 hours, depending on the pace and number of stations you visit.
Best season: The trail is open year-round, but boccia balls are only sold from mid-March to mid-November.
From Riva Rooms & Studios, walk to the Minusio train station. From there, take a train to Tenero.
The train to Tenero takes just 2 minutes.
From Tenero, take bus 321. You can stop at multiple locations, such as Brione Verzasca or Sonogno, to start the trail.
Purchase your boccia ball at vending machines or various other selling points across the valley. Begin your adventure at one of the play stations where you can enjoy challenges such as zip lines and catapults.
Your boccia ball will be used on innovative systems that allow it to climb, zip, and roll across different terrains. The 23 stations are spread across two trails and are suitable for all ages (under adult supervision).
Once you finish your trail, take bus 321 back to Tenero and from there the train back to the hotel.
